A programme of ONE-TO-ONE and SEMINAR type sessions has been built around the PRODUCTION schedule of the eight Digital Shorts films. This mix allows the Trainees to build their practical experience through work on prouduction. While the sessions allow them consider their own specific career and skills development, and learn more general concepts about the process of getting scripts to screen. [pdf file]. While the focus of their training will be on the production side, trainees will also be encouraged to understand something of the 'distribution and exhibition' side.
Four seminar-type sessions will cover Overviews of: the Script-to-Screen process, Production Technology concepts, seeing a 'good' Story, and the Industry shape and its entry points. The fortnightly one-to-one sessions will look firstly at setting the learning and development goals and action plan for each individual, and then continue to review progress on those objectives.
